What is Butterfly Home?

No child should grow up behind prison walls.

In Nepal, incarcerated mothers must choose between bringing their children to live with them in prison or sending them to the street. Butterfly Home is a safe haven, learning center and surrogate family founded to support the education and growth of these children both in and out of prison.

Our Children

We currently care for 40 children in our residential home and 7 children in our day care center. By restoring their childhood, we’re securing their future.
